Canada Trip 2012

This fall I went to Canada over my fall break in school. It was perfect timing because I was able to be in Canada during Canadian Thanksgiving! My mom and I left on the Saturday morning and arrived in Calgary that evening.

We were able to have two Thanksgivings, one on Sunday night and the other on Monday night. Now, in about a month I'll be able to have another Thanksgiving here in the states! :)

One of the reasons we went up there was for the Calgary Temple Open House. I was still on my mission when the Calgary Temple was announced and it will be dedicated at the end of October.

We spent all day up in Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise. I think that is where most of the pictures I took are from. It is so beautiful up there!

We went to Canada Olympic Park because my mom is a big fan of the Winter Olympics, especially the ice skaters.

Before heading down south to Lethbridge and Raymond we went to the Calgary Tower. For those of you unfamiliar with the Calgary Tower, it is like the Space Needle in Seattle.

The remainder of the trip was spent visiting good friends down in Lethbridge and Raymond. For those of you who are LDS, Raymond is the center of the Universe! I swear you can connect anyone who is LDS to Raymond in one way or another; its kind of like the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon... :)

I hope you enjoy the photos below!!
