Generation Ivory
GenerationIvory.com is the family website for my father's paternal ancestry. The Ivory Family Association has been around since the early 1980's. One of the primary goals for the association has been to research, discover and document the descendants of Mathew Hayes Ivory (abt. 1765-1812) and his wife Ann McNulty (abt.1788-).
Mathew and Ann were married probably around 1808 in Philadelphia. Their first known son, Mathew Hayes Ivory, Jr. was born in July 1809 in Philadelphia. Their second known son, Isaac Ivory was born abt. 1810 also in Philadelphia.
Mathew Sr. died 13 March 1812. Very little is known about the Ivory family before Mathew arrived in Philadelphia around 1798. Our goal is to find Mathew's origin in Ireland and to continue finding his ancestry.
